A new year

I know I have been neglecting my blog but this year has already proven to be a challenging one! I am going to start a new blog and have to set it all up soon. It is on my to do list. In the mean time, you should check out the website that we just finished.

Red Coat!

I think I have developed a thing for red coats. This was my second shoot this winter with a red coat and I love the color. I would love to get a red coat some time in the fall or spring, so that everything else wouldn't be so blah. Then there would be flowers, or leaves that would compliment the coat, not just the dead plants we have now.

These had to be cropped, because any other way and there was a play ground and other stuff in the picture. I wish that there hadn't been a play ground and big fence behind them, oh well!

Another engagement

I love engagement shoots. I include them in all my packages so that I can meet a couple before the wedding and get to know them a bit. These two were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to their wedding. Here is a sneak peak...

It's been a long time

So I thought I should update the blog. It has been so busy and hectic getting ready for the holidays and such. Here are some pics from a recent engagement session. This couple is wonderful, after deeling with a mix up we rescheduled and everything turned out great.

This is for a couple who started a new restaurant in downtown Zeeland. I shot their wedding and they contacted us to do their website. This man's food is amazing. I know first hand cause he catered the sister in laws wedding and it was amazing. If you live in the area, I suggest you visit them soon. :)

Studio

Inspired by the gap, sad but true. After a recent trip to the mall I noticed all the black and white studio work in the gap stores. I love them. I kept thinking, I must be the only one paying more attention to the adds then to the clothes. Anyhow, this inspired me to get into the studio and practice with some black and white close ups.
